Why We Do It

We remember where we were at significant moments in our lives.  Sometimes the feelings and emotions are so meaningful we can recall the smallest details like the temperature, what we were wearing, the smells and more.  Other times, we can only remember one element which could be a feeling, something that was said, or that our lives would never be the same from that moment on.

Twenty-one rows from the stage.

In the mid to late ’80’s,  long before either of us worked in the music business, Bryan Ward and Jennifer Cooke separately attended Amy Grant concerts in different cities. Neither of us arrived as devoted fans. In fact, one of us walked in with fairly modest expectations and the other was dragged to the show by some well-intentioned friends.

Years later, we discovered something remarkable: at both concerts, we had been seated in the 21st row.

What we experienced that night stayed with us. We watched an artist use music not simply to entertain, but to bring hope, joy, honesty, and faith to arenas filled with people searching for connection and meaning. We left transformed — by the music, by the message, and by the realization that live events could genuinely impact lives.

That shared experience became the inspiration behind 21st Row Management.

Today, our mission remains rooted in what we witnessed all those years ago: helping artists create meaningful work and authentic connections that move people long after the lights go down.  We aim to help create as many possible ‘21st row moments’ for fans, listeners, artists, creatives and clients so that countless lives can be changed…for the better.
